Hawzah News Agency- Mohsen Dehnavi, the spokesperson of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, wrote on his account on the X social network: "According to Article 111 of Iran’s Constitution, until a new leader is determined, a temporary Leadership Council consisting of the President, the Head of the Judiciary, and one of the jurists of the Gurdian Council will be formed.
Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council elected Ayatollah Alireza Arafi as a member of the Council to ensure uninterrupted leadership and for the Assembly of Experts to elect a permanent leader as soon as possible."
